Fees & Payment

Fees for the academic year 1st September 2025 – 31st August 2026

I operate a simple and transparent fee structure to remain as affordable as I can for everyone.

I will always agree the fees with you before going ahead with any work.

I offer one initial 30 minute consultation to any new organisation or individual, free of charge, with no further obligation, before undertaking work.  Contact me to book!

My basic consultancy fee is £60/hour.

Example 1: Observation in school over two lessons and some unstructured time (2 – 3 hours), produce report with recommendations collated from this observation + other information such as medical/school reports (3 – 4 hours). This would incur a fee between £300 – £420, plus travel costs*. If required, a follow up meeting with staff and parents/carers might add a further hour, making the maximum total due £480 plus travel. Complex reports might require more time for writing up, although this is rare.

Example 2: Home visits, or meeting at a mutually agreed location, for one hour to discuss a recent/suspected identification of autism and provide appropriate resources and information over a period of 3-6 weeks – each visit would cost £60 plus travel.

My training fees are available on request – I calculate these on a bespoke basis.

*Travel costs will be invoiced at the HMRC approved rate of 45p/mile for the round trip from my base to your location. Any public transport costs or parking fees will be added.  I do not charge for the time spent travelling within a 30 mile radius of my base.

My base for the purposes of calculating mileage is MK44 1EE.

Please contact me if you need any further clarification about fees.

Payment

A deposit of 50% of the estimated total due will be requested and should be paid before work takes place and the balance invoiced on completion; payment of the balance should be made within 14 calendar days of the invoice date.

I prefer payment by BACS (direct bank transfer), but will also accept payment by cheque, cash or PayPal.
